So the big airshow I've been wait for didn't go as planned. The weather was awful. Sunny skies except for a 20 knot crosswind which is very bad on a grass runway with 70 year old war planes. Most of them, including all of the trainers, didn't even get their engines started. I got about half the number of pics as last year. The facilities aren't that big so, there was a lot of people crowded into small spaces. Plus, they had a lot of their aircraft parked right in front of the spectators so you couldn't even get a good picture of a taxiing aircraft as it went by. The flight path for the aircraft didn't even allow them to fly straight down the runway. The did circuits at the far end of the runway diagonal to the crowd. Anyway, if you didn't have a good camera zoom, you were out of luck. And I'm not going today because it is supposed to be rained out. Sorry
